Required documents
As a foreign worker, you need certain documents that you submit to police stations as proof of your purpose of stay – depending on your situation, you will need different types of documents.
Below you can find different types of situations:
job change
As a foreign worker in Croatia, you will need these documents to successfully apply and change your current job
Valid travel document
Valid passport and a valid ID card from your home country
Contract
Connect with and learn from the experiences of others in a special Facebook group for people from India living and working in Croatia.
Proof of innocence of the offender
Evidence that the third-country national has not been finally convicted of criminal offenses in their home country or in a country where they resided for more than one year immediately before arriving in the Republic of Croatia.
All required documents must be in PDF format, and must not exceed 20 MB in size.
Extension of residence and work permit
If you are extending your stay and work permit in Croatia, you must also add these documents in addition to the above documents
Payroll calculation
Payroll calculations according to the validity period of the previously issued residence and work permit for seasonal work
Proof of health insurance
Proof of health insurance or a copy of your health insurance card
All required documents must be in PDF format, and must not exceed 20 MB in size.

Depending on the region in Croatia where your new job will be located, you can send all those documents to one of the police station emails.
Once the process is completed, you will be notified via email or phone about when and where you can pick up your residence and work permit.
