Basic documentation
As a foreign worker, you need certain documents that you send to police stations as proof of your intention to stay - depending on your situation, you will need different types of documents
Below you can find the types of situations:
Job change
As a foreign worker in Croatia, you need to obtain these documents to successfully apply and change your current job
Valid travel documents
Valid passport and a valid ID card from your country of origin
Contract
Signed employment contract between the employer and the third-country national
Proof of criminal innocence
Proof that the third-country national has not been finally convicted of criminal offenses in their home country or in any country where they resided for more than a year immediately prior to their arrival in the Republic of Croatia
All required documents must be in PDF format and no larger than 20 MB.
Extension of residence and work permit
If you are extending your stay and work permit in Croatia, you will need to add these documents as well, in addition to the documents mentioned above
Payroll accounts
Calculation of salary in proportion to the validity period of the previously issued residence and work permit for seasonal work
Proof of health insurance
Proof of health insurance or a copy of the health insurance card
All required documents must be in PDF format and no larger than 20 MB.

Depending on the area where your new job in Croatia will be based, you can send all these documents to one of the police station emails
Once the procedure is completed, you will be notified via email or phone about the time and place to pick up your residence and work permit.
